Justin Bieber Pens a Letter to His Fans Explaining the Real Reason Behind Canceling His Tour
When Justin Bieber canceled his tour, fans were like, "Baby, baby, baby NO!" The rumor mill has been steadily churning ever since. Did the Biebs abruptly cancel his tour because he was tryna get right with Jesus? Was he starting his own church? Suddenly, young women all over the world were converting to Christianity, the pope requested a meeting, Biebs was being named a saint...See how easily the mill can get churning again?
Justin did his best to dispel rumors, but it didn't help that he was hanging with a pastor from Hillsong church. Now, after a couple of weeks of letting us stew, Justin posted this letter on Instagram to give his fans "an opportunity to know where [he is] coming from":
Bieber acknowledges his post is not exactly grammatically correct, by the way, so leave him alone! He's doing his best. In the post, Bieber expresses his gratitude to his fans saying, "Im so grateful for this journey with all of you..Im grateful for the tours but most of all I am grateful i get to go through this life WITH YOU." He is really candid about growing up in the spotlight and talks about the ways that he "let [his] insecurities get the best of [him] at times, [He] let broken relationships dictate the way [he] acted toward people and the way [he] treated them," mentioning also his journey in the past few years to make changes in his life and become a better person and performer for his fans.
He also explained his decision to halt the tour by saying, "I've learned the more you appreciate your calling the more you want to protect your calling. Me taking this time right now is me saying I want to be SUSTAINABLE. I want my career to be sustainable, but I also want my heart and soul to be sustainable."
It's really easy for us to forget that celebrities are human beings with lives and feelings outside of performing.
