Guard Your Wigs Because Cardi B Just Announced When Her Album Is Dropping

Just wait on it.

We already know Cardi B is not playing about this rap thing after giving the streets two fire mixtapes: Gangsta B-tch Music Volumes 1 and 2. Now, the Bronx native is ready to show the people what she's really made of when she drops her debut album in October.

The former Love & Hip Hop star rocked the crowd at Made In America this past weekend, turning the crowd up with hits like "Foreva" and of course the summer anthem "Bodak Yellow" (which, by the way, has climbed all the way to number one on urban radio). After shutting down the festival's jammed packed "Liberty" stage, Cardi closed her set by dropping the exciting news. “Let me remind y’all I’m dropping my album [in] October, bye,” she screams before dipping off the stage.

The timing for this new album could not be better. Cardi's 2017 glow up surpassed all of our wildest dreams. On top of "Bodak Yellow" soaring up the charts, the up-and-coming rapper has rocked every stage from the VMA's to Summer Jam while earning respect and radio play from hip hop's most influential DJs. She's gotten major co-signs from the likes of Drake, Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma, and was even blessed with the rare opportunity to meet Beyoncé. Not to mention, her fan base is growing by the minute and pretty much everyone wants to see her win.

Honestly, truly... October can't come soon enough.

In our recent Facebook Live with Remy Ma she admitted it was this video that made her respect Cardi’s seriousness in being an artist. There's a pretty good chance we might hear from Remy on Cardi's new album.
