It's so good to see Yeezy back onstage.

Kanye West made his big return to music after a year long hiatus.

The rapper hit the stage as a surprise guest during the Chicago stop of Kid Cudi's Passion, Pain and Demon Slaying tour.

Yeezy and Cudi performed "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1" lifted off of Ye's The Life of Pablo album.

Fellow rapper and Chicago native, Chance the Rapper, took to social media sharing the news.

Kanye West and Kid Cudi's onstage reunion comes as a surprise. Last year, the rappers were involved in a brief feud after Kid Cudi called out Kanye West, Drake and several others for having many of their songs written by other people.

As a response to Cudi's criticism, Kanye said, "Kid Cudi, don't ever mention 'Ye name. I birthed you," during a stop on his Saint Pablo tour.
