Trina Cosigns Her "Daughter" 'Love & Hip Hop''s Brittney Taylor Heavy, They Give a Juicy Joint Breakfast Club Interview

"I love you. You're a great artist. You are super talented. Stop the partying and focus on your music."

If the baddest b--h gives you advice, you better listen. Luckily for Brittney Taylor, she did because she's focused and getting back to that coin.

Love & Hip Hop Miami's Trina linked up with Brittney Taylor of Love & Hip Hop to show Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club some love. This wasn't a random pairing as the ladies reveal they have been practically inseparable for years. Trina even reveres Brittney Taylor as a younger sister who is super talented.

Trina recounted how she and Brittney first met,

In the studio, in Miami, she's always around, always working with other people like in the studio. Tory [Lanez] like she said, different producers. She was in my session one night. I was in the studio recording. I had took a break to eat and when I looked up she's like in the booth recording in the middle of my session. Just in the booth making records, doing songs, doing references, all kinds of stuff and I'm like, 'Yo, who is this?' and then she just started dancing. It was like you cannot even deny how genuine she was. She was so lit and I'm like, 'You don't crash nobody's session and start recording your own vocals' Ever since then, we've been inseparable.

Super sweet how the music brings people together. Angela Yee compliments Trina on always embracing other women in the industry. If you didn't know, after her success with DJ Webstar in her early age, Brittney quickly moved to Miami and spent bands causing her to go broke. Her party life was so lit, Trina says she had to sit the Queens rapper down for a serious talk. She told the Breakfast Club,

I had to get her out the party life, get to business. She was [spending a lot of money]. She likes to party. She likes to hang out, have a good time. She's the life of the party. I had to sit her down and say, 'I love you. You're a great artist. You are super talented. Stop the partying and focus on your music because the time is going to pass you've been in cause you're not [as] consistent as I am. You're inconsistent so it makes it harder for your brand, for people to recognize your or remember the record back in the day,' and she just got it right. She started focusing.

Thankfully for Brittney she was making coin from appearances at that time but Miami ran her pockets, especially due to that condo she bought on South Beach. Fortunately the free studio time from Trina was a plus in getting back in good financial graces. It didn't come easy though. Trina made Brittney put the boys on the back burner because she had record deadlines to meet. With Teyana Taylor as her bestie and Tory Lanez in her circle, Trina felt obligated to help out this young female emcee because she saw the potential however Brittney is not signed to Trina's Rockstar Music Group label.

They go on to speak on being a female rapper in this day and age, DJ Envy's dildos, Trina's sex advice, Brittney's sexual preference, and their upcoming record "Pop Somethin'." Fellas, Trina is also in love but not spilling too much tea on who the young man is so don't believe the blogs. As far as the beef with fellow Love & Hip Hop castmate Bianca Bonnie, you'd just have to tune in Mondays to find out what's going on with that. Take a listen to the full interview above and don't forget to celebrate Trina Day on May 15th!
