Topless Olympic Guy is Back for the 2018 Winter Olympics and He's Oiled Up and Ready to Go

Has anyone checked his abs for frostbite?

The Winter Olympics are finally here. It's a magical time where we non-athletic folks get to sit on our couches and wonder how these athletes haven't died atop a mountain while skiing down the slopes or frozen their butts off while bobsledding. It is so cold at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea that Olympians have had to throw away their frozen, unusable skis. There are reports of hypothermia and temperatures in the single digits!

And yet, through the tundra, through the snow, through the unbearable cold, one man remains:

Topless Olympic Guy.

The Winter Games just got hotter.

Sure, this slab of man-meat has a name. It's Pita Taufatofua, and you might remember him from his previous shirtless, oily appearance at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. If there is two things this Tongan flag bearer likes it's replacing his shirt with baby oil and carrying his country's flag no matter the chance of frostbite.

It was 32˚F at the Opening Ceremonies, but this guy knows his lane and he is staying in it.

Me, if I was an Olympic judge:

Taufatofua is actually much more than a set of oily abs (no, really, I'm not just saying that) he competed in the 2016 Olympics in taekwondo, but he took up cross-country skiing to be the only Tongan at this year's games and the very first athlete from his country to participate in both the Winter and Summer Olympics.

Judging by his outfit, his country isn't necessarily accustomed to bundling up for sports.

Twitter was...not mad at it.

Whoever is running the official Olympics Twitter was even shook:

Although some were worried he was going to get a little chilly:

Has anyone checked him for frostbite? If not...
