Giuliana Rancic is Bidding Adieu to E! News + More Scoop For Your Thursday

Plus, find out why police are investigating Ariana Grande's doughnut-gate.

Did anyone see this coming? Giuliana Rancic announced last night that, after 10+ years, she is leaving her hosting gig at E! News. The veteran pop culture journalist will finish out her anchor duties August 10, but don't think she's leaving the network entirely. Giuliana is still keeping her post as a Fashion Police co-host and lead reporter on Live from the Red Carpet.

"For more than a decade, I was fortunate enough to play a role in the success of E! News and will miss my family at the show," Giuliana said in a statement. "At the same time, I am excited to not only continue as host of two major franchises on E! but also executive produce the aspirational new show Rich in Faith for Oxygen as well as take my wine and clothing lines to the next level. This is such a thrilling time for me and I thank the gang at E! for understanding my desire to embark on this next chapter in my life."

It's unclear if Giuliana's departure has anything to do with the comments she made on Fashion Police about Zendaya's Oscar red carpet hairstyle a few months ago. (If you forgot, she said Zendaya's hair looked like she smelled "like patchouli or weed," which put her in serious hot water.) The Gossip Table reported a while back about how Zendaya used the Giuliana controversy to her advantage.
