Ashley's FaceTime Session With Her Son DJ Will Have You Busting Out the Kleenex

Don and Ashley's separation is probably best for their relationship, but their oldest son DJ is having a tough time adjusting.

In this Black Ink Crew: Chicago highlight, Don is on single dad duty now that Ashley learned of his affair and retreated to Texas with baby Ashdon. The couple isn't sure about the future of their relationship, but they are certain about the love they have for their children. In fact, caring for DJ on his own has helped Don gain a new respect for single parents. "This is not easy when you have to balance your hustle with your free time, along with your parenting time."

As Don is preparing DJ for bed, they give mom a ring on FaceTime. Ashley and DJ spend time catching up, and it's clear from their conversation that little man is missing his mommy. Don is missing her too, but remains patient. "Right now, I'm just focusing on being the best me I could be."
