Is Daniel Radcliffe a Better Rapper Than Shia LaBeouf? Let's Find Out

The rap battle no one wants, but would watch anyway.

I never thought I would ever write this post, but the little Harry Potter/Even Stevens stan in me is crying out with pure joy. A few weeks ago, rat-tail enthusiast Shia LaBeouf proved that he had the potential to be rap's next big prodigy, but an unforeseen foe, Daniel Radcliffe, might out shine him.

Earlier today, a video surfaced of Potter rapping Eminem's "The Real Slim Shady" during a lit karaoke session somewhere in the world, and it was surprisingly quite impressive. His technique and delivery was pretty good regardless of him hijacking someone else's style.

Before we dive deeper, lets take a second to acknowledge the background dancer in the video. Nice try, sweetheart.

Now back to Potter. The hip-hop-loving actor has been a Eminem stan for the longest, and admitted to it last fall on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show. More impressively, he provided the audience with a live rendition of the fast-paced tongue-twisting rap song “Alphabet Aerobics" by Blackalicious, which he nailed perfectly.

So what makes the boy who lived a potentially better rapper than Stanley Yelnats IV? His delivery and expert technique. Shia's edge is his original style and lyrical skill. Freestyling isn't easy, but the enormity of taking on two highly skilled lyrical and technical songs effortlessly could give Radcliffe the win.
