Snoop Dogg's Son Chucks The Deuces To Football Team, But How Does His Dad Feel?

He dropped the team like it was hot.

Snoop Dogg's son, Cordell Broadus, just quit his football team right before beginning his freshman year at UCLA.

Formerly a four year prospect, Cordell played the wide receiver position at Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman. According to Bruin Report Online, sources close to Cordell stated that the teenager wanted "to do his own thing, since his father had always pushed him to play football."

The insiders also claim that the Cordell still wants to remain a student at UCLA, but focus on film.

Cordell feeling too pressured by his dad isn't surprising at all. We know how much of a football fan Snoop is. He founded The Snoop Youth Football League in 2005 for inner children and never shies away from talking about the sport. But, hopefully he's not taking the news that badly. His kid's a man now with a mind of his own.

This hasn't been the best summer for hip hop dads and their football playing sons, though. Just last month, Diddy avoided charges he faced for attacking his son,

Justin Combs', football coach with a kettle bell.

What hip hop/football shakeup is gonna go down next?
