All the Ways Shailene Woodley Dominated the 2015 MTV Movie Awards

The winner of the Trailblazer Award owned the night with her flawless acceptance speeches and effortlessly cool style.

Shailene has been recognized for stellar performances in The Descendants, The Spectacular Now, Divergent, and The Fault in Our Stars, and still remains a grounded role model. Here are all the ways the 23-year-old beauty owned the entire night.

She and Ansel Elgort scored the Best Kiss Award for The Fault in Our Stars

Ansel wasn't at the show, but Shailene managed to give an epic solo acceptance speech (which is damn near impossible for Best Kiss winners). “If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to kiss your brother, it’s pretty great,” she said. Oh, Shailene.

She tipped her hat to the man responsible for her Best Female Performance win.

Rather than making her acceptance speech all about herself, Shailene dedicated it to The Fault in Our Stars author John Green. "I feel like this award belongs to John Green," she said. "He gave this world a beautiful masterpiece, a gift. It changed my life when I read it... His words will transcend time."

Miles Teller's showers of praise.

Her Divergent and Spectacular Now co-star gushed about Shailene when presenting her with the Trailblazer Award. He reflected on the time she lived out of a suitcase and slept on her friends' couches before she made it big. "It's not about fame or fortune — she maintains the person that she is," he said, moving Shai to tears.

Her Trailblazer Award acceptance speech was slightly awkward and therefore perfect.

An extremely humbled Shailene reflected on when she was in awe of Emma Stone, who won the award three years ago. After attempting to paraphrase Emma's speech, she got a little flustered, admitting, "What am I trying to say? I just have no idea." Following the adorable moment, she noted the importance of community in supporting trailblazers. “We can’t be ourselves without people to reflect back to us who we really are,” she said. Bravo!

The Fault in Our Stars took home the golden popcorn for Movie of the Year.

We'd say this takes the cake, wouldn't you agree? John Green accepted the award on behalf on the cast and crew, while Shailene sat back and let him do his thing. Further proof that she has more class in her little pinky than most celebs do combined.
