Gifted underwear model with a DJing problem Calvin Harris is a tad late to yesterday’s #HiddleswiftIsOver party. But hey, better late than never, right?
Calvin is on the cover of British GQ’s October issue. If you haven’t already purchased a print or digital copy, here’s a draw to get your hands on one: Calvin opens up about his breakup with Taylor Swift, including the epic Twitter rant that followed.
“It’s very difficult when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly,” Calvin told the magazine. He explained that his breakup with Taylor was more publicized than their actual relationship, which sounds about right. It’s 2016, after all.
“When we were together, we were very careful for it not to be a media circus,” Calvin said. “She respected my feelings in that sense. I’m not good at being a celebrity.” I’m not sure what “good at being a celebrity” entails, but Calvin, doll, you are one hell of an Armani briefs model.
“But when it ended, all hell broke loose,” Calvin continued. (Recall that after his breakup with Taylor, news broke that she was the brains behind his hit “This Is What You Came For.”) “Now I see that Twitter thing as a result of me succumbing to pressure,” he said. And by “that Twitter thing,” he almost definitely means “when I spilled all of the tea about Taylor and her crazy Mean Girl antics.”
Calvin, baby. You shiny, Scottish, grown AF man, you. Never change. And by that I mean “never stop tweeting.”
