The Best Audience Reactions at the 2017 VMAs
The VMAs have given us some amazing pop culture moments over the years. From wardrobe malfunctions to legendary performances, there's always plenty to talk about. But if there's one thing that MTV knows, it's that nothing beats the reactions of the celebrities in the crowd. That's why there's an audience camera--so we can see all of those reactions in real time. There was this one, where Justin Timberlake looked on as his ex Britney Spears made out with Christina Aguilera on stage at the 2003 VMAs:
Or this adorable moment when Blue Ivy was totally feeling her mom's performance while hanging out with Jay-Z.
And while this year we didn't get any dancing videos of Taylor Swift...
We did get some quality reactions from our favorite celebs!
1. Ludacris was all of us realizing that he actually knew a song:
2. When Jack Antonoff got hungry and needed to eat a banana because why not?
3. When Peter Davidson took a drink like, "Mkay."
4. Bebe Rexa was having the best time last night:
She was all of us during Shawn Mendes' performance:
And had a completely appropriate reaction to when Normani did a damn split:
5. Logic and his girlfriend Jessica were literally just being so pure:
6. Ed Sheeran's got that blank stare you get when you look at a test that you didn't study for:
7. Vanessa Hudgens dancing next to her date while he texts away is my personal aesthetic:
8. And then staring into the camera like Jim from the office, only while feeling the music:
9. Ellen is me when I'm in my car singing Ed Sheeran (before I realize my windows are down and everyone can hear me):
10. Cardi B was having the time of her life last night, but this was by far our favorite reaction:
11. Chance the Rapper did not skimp on the applause, he was living for each and every moment:
12. DJ Khaled's son Asahd gave the world's cutest applause. Don't @ me.
Thanks for the gif-worthy reactions, y'all. Can't wait for next year!
