After Losing Amina for the Umpteenth Time, Peter Reveals Why The Couple Decided to Join WeTV's 'Marriage Boot Camp'
He chose Tara, then Amina, then eventually decided on Tara at the season seven Love & Hip Hop reunion but a whole network later, it looks like Peter decided to work things out with Amina, again.
In this meet the cast clip for WeTV's Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, we are reintroduced to the vacillating marriage that is Peter and Amina's. The creep squad general explains that his reason for coming to marriage boot camp is that of an obvious one, to make things right with Amina or at least to show that he's making an effort this time around. In juggling between his on-again/off-again baby mama Tara and his on-again/off-again wife Amina, Peter lost both in the process and is trying to pick up the pieces.
Amina is seemingly in for some in-your-face scrutiny as another cast-mate jokingly says the two should really be on TLC's Sister Wives. 'Cause get it? Amina, Tara, Peter, love triangle? Yea, that part.
Amina's face though? I digress. After several failed counseling attempts, this magnetic couple is giving boot camp a shot and with all of their business shared with the whole group, it's safe to say this process will be intense. Amina is transparent about her husband's infidelities and the abortion she had right before Tara Wallace announced her pregnancy with Peter Gunz. So yea, boot camp is kinda very necessary.
If wanting to be a faithful husband isn't a good enough reason to make things work, Peter reveals that it took Amina really leaving for him to get his s--t together, after all they are married. In a clip for the upcoming 9th season, Amina gets checked when she's called out on her passiveness and willingness to always forgive. No one said boot camp was going to be easy.
When it comes down to it, it's all for Cori and baby Bronx so even if they don't figure things out, the two are hoping to be better people by the end of the process.
You can watch them work it out on Marriage Boot Camp where, coincidentally, former Basketball Wives star Meghan James will also be getting her therapy on with her ex-boo DeAndre Perry.
The saga continues. Best of luck to the Pankeys!
In this clip from the season seven Love & Hip Hop reunion, the cast gives Amina some tough needed advice when Peter makes her seem like an option.
