Gloria Govan Says Matt Barnes is "Absolutely Not" Invited to Her Wedding

Prince Harry may have made headlines for inviting his ex to his wedding to Meghan Markle this weekend, but Gloria Govan isn't about to take a page from his book.

When approached by TMZ over the weekend, Govan laughed off the question that her ex Matt Barnes would be at her wedding to Derek Fisher. Fisher and Barnes were ex-teammates who had some very public beef when Govan and Fisher started dating in 2015, but it looks like it has (mostly) been squashed. The reporter even mentions that Barnes posted (then deleted) his congratulations when Govan and Fisher announced their engagement in April 2018.

While that may be true, Govan says that it's still "really awkward" to invite your ex to your wedding ceremony. It's not like her hubby-to-be is inviting his exes.

On top of that, Gloria says that Matt makes his relationship with Derek seem much more friendly than it actually is. She said, "[Matt] and Derek aren't cool. They're cordial, you know...I wouldn't say beef but they're just not, you know, they don't talk every week. That's crazy."

When asked if she thought that Barnes would send her a gift even though he won't be in attendance, Govan laughed and said, "No, hopefully not. I will throw that gift away. Absolutely. There's no way in America."
