Watch The Killers Slay "Human" + Grammar During Their Live From The Artists Den Set

Palladia is airing The Killers' full Live From The Artists Den concert Wednesday, April 23 at 9/8C. We've got a sneak of the foursome rocking their platinum synth-pop hit "Human" from the first single from the band's third studio album Day & Age at Capitale in New York City’s Chinatown.

Bad news is you'll have to wait until next week to hear the Vegas-born band's full seven-song set and backstage interviews from their July 2012 show. On the Mr. Brightside (had to), you get a few days to finally learn the lyrics to "Human." One of the great internet debates of 2008 when the Johnny Cash meets Pet Shop Boys tune first dropped was if Brandon Flowers was trilling "dancer" or "denser" in the chorus. If you thought it was denser, frontman Flowers thinks you're an idiot and hates you. He told MTV that the oft-misunderstood lyric was actually inspired by a quote from author Hunter S. Thompson who said,"'We're raising a generation of dancers,' and I took it and ran."

Turns out the music fans are arbitrarily uncomfortable with grammar errors in song-lyrics (attention Little Monsters: it should be "you and I could write a bad romance," not "you and me"). So, to ease your mind while you watch The Killers' performance, flip through our gallery of 20 other tunes people didn't quite "get" but loved. As Flowers said,"I guess it bothers people that it's not grammatically correct, but I think I'm allowed to do whatever I want." You ain't never lie, Brandon. You ain't never lie.
