BenDeLaCreme and Shangela Let Milk Know That She and Thorgy's Drag Styles Aren't as Revolutionary as She Thinks They Are

"Milk seems to think that she is inventing a new category of drag, but I don't think any of us are doing anything new."

As the old saying goes: "there's nothing new under the sun." So even though Milk thought she and Thorgy had pioneered their individual drag styles, that really isn't the case, at least according to BenDeLaCreme and Shangela.

In this bonus clip from RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, the queens beat their faces while indulging in some girl talk. It's no secret that Milk is still very disappointed that her good sis Thorgy Thor was sent home after last week's challenge. She implies that the two of them had an "IT" factor that the other queens don't.

"Milk seems to think that she is inventing a new category of drag, but I don't think any of us are doing anything new," BenDeLaCreme says in her confessional. "I'm a camp queen. I'm not trying to convince anyone that I invented camp." The herstory lesson goes on to emphasize that drag is inspired by and comes from an array of places and background. Take Sasha Velour, winner of RuPaul's Drag Race Season nine, who was known for her bald glamor but certainly wasn't the first bald drag queen.
