Sam Smith Is Slated to Sing the James Bond 'Spectre' Theme Song and We're All About It

Sam Smith is back with a capital B, as evidenced by this video he posted to his Twitter this morning.

Smith, who has been recuperating from vocal cord surgery, is talking again, and will resume performing in July. He's also slated to sing the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film, Spectre, as Rob Shuter from The Gossip Table reports. Yay!

Smith, who was rumored to be next to sing the latest Bond theme song, will join the likes of Madonna, Alicia Keys, Jack White, and of course, Adele, who have all taken on Bond songs in the past. You know Sam is going to murder this with a capital M — in the best way, that is.
