Holly Robinson Peete Says the Cast Is Hopeful and Down for a Hangin' with Mr. Cooper Reboot

Netflix, please make this happen!

Christmas may have come early in the shape of a Hangin' with Mr. Cooper reboot, according to one of its stars. In an exclusive interview with VH1, Holly Robinson Peete said she is feeling all the love for '90s and that the cast of the TGIF hit, which included Mark Curry and Raven-Symoné, would all be down for a Fuller House-style revival.

Robinson Peete said, "I would love to do it and I do feel that '90s love and I told them I'm down for it, so we'll see. According to Mark Curry, who was Mr. Cooper, yes. Ironically our kids are in elementary school together, so I'm still hanging with Mr. Cooper every day. And I asked Raven, and she was like, 'Absolutely. I'd do it.' I'm hoping we will [and] we were encouraged by the fact that Jeff Franklin did the revival of Full House for Netflix and he's the creator of our show as well. We have all reached out to him to say that if there's interest, we are all down to do it."

Hangin' with Mr. Cooper aired on ABC from 1992-1996 and followed the antics of Mr. Cooper, a NBA player turned teacher. The cast also featured Dawnn Lewis, Marquise Wilson, Saundra Quarterman, and the late Nell Carter. Robinson Peete played Vanessa, Mr. Cooper's unlikely roommate turned eventual fiancée.

Would a Hangin' with Mr. Cooper revival find Mark and Vanessa living a happily ever after? With mini-Coopers? Are you here for this reunion of your favorites? Let's just hope it has a dope theme song like the original did.
