Joseph Fiennes as Michael Jackson is Scarier Than We Imagined

Who mans is this?

Update: Michael Jackson's daughter Paris is not pleased with the controversial portrayal of her father on the British TV show Urban Myths. She responded on Twitter in a series of tweets saying, "I'm so incredibly offended by it, as I'm sure plenty of people are as well, and it honestly makes me want to vomit." I think we've all had similar reactions. She continues, "where is the respect? They worked through blood sweat and tears for ages to create such profound and remarkable legacies. Shameful portrayal." Thank you, Paris. Read her full response below.

Unlike many, I was willing to give actor Joseph Fiennes a chance to play the late great Michael Jackson. Acting is a form of art and imagination, and no artist should be constricted of a role because of the color of their skin. I was curious to see how things would turn out with this white man playing a Black man. Sadly, makeup-wise they dropped the ball.

A fifty-second trailer was released for the thirty-minute “Elizabeth, Michael & Marlon” episode on the British TV show Urban Myths, and Fiennes looks scary AF!

We got a brief glimpse at the Risen actors portrayal of the King of Pop and he looks like Voldermort's younger brother. Whose mans is this? We all know the late Michael Jackson had many nose operations throughout his life, and recreating can be tricky. Not to discredit Joseph Fiennes, we don't actually know yet how well his performance is, but visually this is an L.

His makeup is downright awful. It's lazy, disgusting, and visually scary. What makeup team thought this was a good job? What director would sign off on this? The show is a comedy so it isn't supposed to be taken too seriously, but they didn't have to do MJ like this. Do better Urban Myths.

Twitter, of course, is not holding back their tongue on the cringeworthy makeup job.
