That Time Terrence Howard Told Us He Was 58 Years Old

Somehow, we forgot about this Terrence Howard factoid: The Best Man Holiday star became a grandfather when his 18-year-old daughter, Aubrey, gave birth to baby Hazel last December 26. When our own Kate Spencer sat down with Howard and co-star Melissa de Sousa to ask about what has changed in their lives since the best man came out nearly 15 years ago, he surprised her with the strangest thing we've ever heard a grandfather say:

"I’m a grandfather now," he declared. "[I'm] 58. I’m a grandfather now. It’s amazing because I don’t think the baby look anything like my daughter. I don’t think it’s her baby."

And then only after Melissa and Kate chuckled uncomfortably did he laugh too. So, just kidding? The actor has made his share of weird headlines (hello, baby wipes) and scary ones (he's been accused of domestic violence several times), so maybe we should just take it in stride that he's rapidly aged somehow from 44 to 58 (he was born in 1969, but maybe there was a time-travel thing involved?) and doesn't recognize his granddaughter.
