The rumor mill has ben churning ever since Monica Brown filed for divorce from her husband Shannon Brown. Though Monica has kept mostly quiet about the break up, it has been extremely difficult for her.

"I've been keeping everything to myself and I feel overwhelmed," the singer says in this T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle clip.

Monica is everybody's "go-to" and she knows that her inability to take a breath may make everyone think that she is just trying to act like everything is perfect, but in reality, she knows that "if you pause, you get stuck." After all, she does have her children to worry about. The pair share a daughter, Laiyah, and Monica has two sons from a previous marriage with rapper Rocko.
