VIDEO PREMIERE: Goo Goo Dolls, "Come To Me"

You gotta hand it to The Goo Goo Dolls. If you were to take a time machine back to the year 1992 and predict an alternative rock act that would still be commercially viable 20 years from now, few would've selected Johnny Rzeznik and Robby Takac. Yet here we are in the fall of 2013 and the Goos are still going strong.
The latest video from the Buffalo twosome is "Come To Me," from their 2013 LP Magnetic. The song is an ode to true love, and seems very squarely targeted towards cornering an underserved (and potentially lucrative) market: Namely, the first dance of newly married couples. You would think that more bands would set out with the expressed intent to write this type of song, but for whatever reason, not many have been able to succeed in the manner that the Goos do here, with lyrics like "Today's the day I'll make you mine / So get me to the church on time / Take my hand in this empty room / You're my girl, and I'm your groom." We're getting misty already! (And the gorgeous, magic hour set video is also geared to get your waterworks going, too.)
