The new girl in town has a major resume!

D. Smith is a two-time Grammy Award-winning producer, singer, and songwriter and now is making history as the first transitioning transgender woman on Love & Hip Hop.

In her debut episode, D. explained to Tammy Rivera-Malphurs that she's been transitioning for about a year. She said, "Physically there's some things that are taking place and that has to continue to take place. This is like, my first year so I have a long way to go."

The Miami-born musician has worked with the likes of Lil Wayne, Ciara, Keri Hilson, Monica, Lloyd, and Andre 3000, among others. Her most recent solo project "I'm That B---h" was released last year.
