5 Times Hulk Hogan Definitely Didn't Know Best
It's not a good day for mustache with muscles Hulk Hogan.
The National Enquirer published a 2007 audio recording of the body-slamming provocateur where you clearly hear him use the N-word several times (in reference to daughter/iconic pop star Brooke's dating life). The WWE has since wiped all evidence of Hulk from its website. The organization claims it fired Hulk in light of the recording. However, Hulk contends that he quit. Either way, this greasy goon is in hot water.
Hulk issued a formal apology to People magazine:
"Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it. This is not who I am. I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise. I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs."
Heartfelt or savvy PR move? We'll never know for sure, but we do know this isn't the first time Hulk's been sketchy AF. Please relive these hella awkward moments where Mr. Hogan 100 percent did not know best.
The time he tweeted a super normal photo of Brooke's legs.
His daughter Brooke. As in his child. His blood.
The time he made a sex tape.
A major source of Hulk's problems. (The racist rant in question happens in this lovely clip.) Even worse? Hulk made the racy video with the then-wife of his best friend and DJ Bubba the Love Sponge. (But it's OK, because Bubba gave Hulk permission to have sex with her. WTF?!)
The time he sang in a Japanese commercial about air conditioners.
Nightmares.
Any time he "acted."
Long live Thunder in Paradise 3.
And, of course, the time he cheated on his wife Linda with one of Brooke's friends.
Always classy. Never trashy.
In conclusion, we pose this question. Hulk's recent scandal is despicable, but is it that surprising? Nah.
