Tiffany Pollard Responds to David Gest's Death, Removes "David Is Dead" Tee Shirts From Site

When Tiffany Pollard competed on the U.K.'s Celebrity Big Brother, she made international headlines when she thought her house mate David Gest had died but now, in a sad twist of fate, Gest has passed away. The producer, reality star, and famously Liza Minnelli's ex-husband was found dead on April 12, 2016.

Back in January 2016, Tiffany's Celebrity Big Brother co-star Angie Bowie confided in her that her ex-husband David Bowie had died. Being without outside news or media, Pollard assumed that Gest had died and screamed throughout the house that "David is dead!" The moment instantly went viral.

Since filming wrapped the Family Therapy star created a "HBIC" Tee shirt line featuring many of her most well-known phrases from her years on reality TV, including "David is dead." Today Pollard's management announced they'd be taking those shirts down out of respect for Gest and his family.

Later Pollard went on to Tweet out her condolences, "I'm so sad to hear about the passing of #DavidGest. My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family. #RIP"

A sad and strange turn of events for sure. Rest in peace, David.
