Slim Jesus Doesn't Say The N-Word In His Music Because He Doesn't Want To "Sound Corny"
Love him or hate him, Slim Jesus should get some praise for admitting to VladTV that he doesn't use the n-word in his music—or any other time.
"I don't even use that in my personal life. It's not even like I feel like I shouldn't or I feel like I can't or whatever, it's just a personal decision. I don't see why I would. I just don't feel the desire to," Slim said in his sit-down.
He also gave his two cents about white people using the word. "In my opinion, personally, I think white people sound corny saying that s-t." But right after that, he almost put his foot in his mouth when he said, "But on a 'You can do it' end, I think f-k it. It's just a word." All the side eyes.
Nevertheless, whether you're a fan of the dude or not, you've got to give him some props for refusing to use the word, which so many other white rappers feel comfortable saying.
When he isn't doing sit-downs, Slim is most definitely turning up. Just this past weekend, he was Chief Keef's special guest at his "Bang 3 Hologram Fest."
Even though cops shut down the event before he was able to perform, Slim still made a lasting impression on the hip hop crowd that showed up and showed out.
