Talk About Being Kweens: Young M.A. Gets a Dope Tat By Kat in This 'Black Ink Crew: Chicago' Highlight
One of our favorite female Black Ink Crew: Chicago artist left Chi-town and is starting this new season on the other side of the country. Kat packed up and moved Kat Tat to LA where she's living her best life! But moving to LA didn't slow or stop her hustle because a hot Brooklyn rapper, Young M.A., flew across the country just to get a piece done by Kat in her new city.
Before they even pull out the needles and ink, Young M.A. and Kat bond over how big the past year has been from them and importance of taking risks in your career. Young M.A. was everywhere in 2016 with her single "OOUUU" being one of the biggest songs of the year that was remixed by some of the biggest names in music. For Kat, she left her 9Mag family and her hometown to do her own thing and get away from the drama.
Young M.A. gets "Kween" tatted on her calf because as she says, "I'm a King and a Queen." Kat is digging the meaning and definitely hooks it up. By the sound of it, LA was the move for Kat and she's only going to continue to glow up from here.
