Jim Carrey Revealed a Hidden Talent That Has LeBron James Wanting to See More

Known for his timeless whacky characters on the big screen, Jim Carrey has gone into hiding for the most part of the 2010's, and we now know why. The famous comedian just released a new documentary titled, Jim Carrey: I Needed Color, which dives into the more vulnerable and personal side of Carrey and his new obsession with creating fine art. "I think what makes someone an artist is they make models of their inner life," Carrey said in the video. "They make something come into physical being that is inspired by their emotions or their needs or what they feel the audience needs."

He reveals that he started painting around six years ago – around the same time his acting presence started to diminish. “I sketched all the time, but I didn’t do a lot of painting,” he says. “Suddenly, 6 years ago, at a time when I was trying to heal a broken heart, I decided, ‘Well, maybe I’ll paint.’ ”

From the documentary, Carrey's work seems to range around miniature clay sculptures, colorful life-size paintings and collages comprised of words, shapes and soft colors. The six minute video utterly left fans shocked at his new impressive talent including LeBron James.
