Rah Ali Came At Sky's Motherhood and Sky Clapped Back In The Most Classy Way
When a fan commented under a picture on The Shade Room basically claiming #TeamRah, Rah responded with a low blow comment criticizing Sky's painful decision to give her two sons up for adoption. Rather than getting nasty, Sky posted the most articulate and elegant clap back of all time:
Fyi: The only thing that's unfortunate is us as women had to come to physicality's because of actions that put the other in danger (putting my address in social media). In regard to my children, for you and all of those that are ever so concerned about my children they are doing amazing with their adoptive parents! Suddenly uprooting them and taking them out of their element definitely was not my goal whatsoever. My goal is to tell them the reason behind the selfless decision that I made. To give them reason behind the actions of their birth mother how dearly I love them.. The platform I was given to tell my story is also a message out to my children that most birthmothers aren't able to tell until the children are of the allowed age to make contact.
Taking LOW blows to the children is nothing new.. I see comments on social media on a regular basis.. I can care less.. Everyone is entitled to their opinion...
I'm thankful that the Lord has given me the opportunity and the platform of #BlackinkCrew to be able to inform about the adoption process & adoptive issues that people may not know in our community and I'm able to entertain the masses....?
That ass whipping that you were blessed with by these hands will be my last physical altercation #positvevibesonly
I'm on a different flow...say what you want I put energy into posting what you said to me I'm entertaining?? Peace and Infinite blessings

Moniece Slaughter of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, who has also suffered parenting scrutiny at the hands of the media, offered some kind words of support to Sky, even though the two ladies have never met:
Dear Queen,
I do not know you. I have not met you. I only know that I saw your pain. I felt your agony. I identify with the inner turmoil.
The decisions we are faced with as mothers are never going to be easy. Part of maturity is correcting the mistakes. Not repeating the mistakes. The choice you made to give the boys up for adoption was what was best for them. Their well being. Their development. Their safety. And your sanity. It takes a real woman to realize, that while they themselves were not mistakes; the circumstances under which you chose to have them were not ideal. Maybe you felt like choosing to have them when you did, was the mistake. Maybe so. But your admission and recognition that letting them go so they could be who they were meant to be was the first step in the right direction. it takes courage that most don't have, to look within and admit to your short comings. But it beats the alternative of living in denial, neglecting the children, and sabotaging their futures. That was the ultimate sacrifice. To see them now reaching their maximum potential must be rewarding. They have that chance because you were able to see past yourself and do what was best for them. That's what mothers do. We do what needs to be done. Not what we want to do. You are no less of a mother. You are worthy. You are deserving. we all fall from grace. We all fall short. But without His mercy, we can not recover. You are covered. You are favored. You are blessed. He makes no mistakes. You were the vessel that was used by the man upstairs, to deliver those boys into the hands of destiny. So wipe those tears. Hold your head up high. Walk in purpose and divinity. Push through. They're watching. Now make them proud that YOU are indeed their MOTHER! @flyyytattedsky
Moms unite! Actually, can't we all unite?
