Lil' Mama Will Play Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes In VH1's TLC Biopic
The TLC biopic that VH1 is producing has been making some progress, and just this weekend, there were some rumors floating around announcing some very interesting casting news via Twitter. On Saturday, the Twitter account for T-Boz's reality show Totally T-Boz tweeted that singer Lil' Mama has been picked to play Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes in the film.
MC Lyte also mentioned that Lil' Mama was going to be playing the role when she was interviewed on the red carpet of the VIBE Impact Awards. And now we can actually confirm that yes, they aren't just spreading rumors, it's all true, and we couldn't be more excited! While casting decisions for the remaining two roles are still being finalized, we can safely reveal that 23-year-old Lil' Mama will portray Left Eye, and we can't wait to see what she does with the role.
