JAY-Z Recruits Issa Rae, Tiffany Haddish and All-Black Comedy Cast For Friends Remake Video

Can this remake happen IRL?

"Moonlight" was one of the most talked about tracks lifted off of JAY-Z's 4:44 album, so it was only right that he lived up to the hype when it came to the song's visuals.

Hov grabbed the who's who of rising Black Hollywood for an epic Friends remake that we'd love to see on our small screens IRL.

"Moonlight" opens with Get Out stars Lil Rel Howery and Lakeith Stanfield taking on the roles of Chandler and Joey. The Carmichael Show's Jerrod Carmichael, who plays Ross, quickly enters wearing a dapper suit and shows a little PDA to Issa Rae, who stars as Rachel. Creed's Tessa Thompson and Girl's Trip's Tiffany Haddish also appear as Phoebe and Monica.

The video takes a sudden turn the show takes a break and Carmichael chats with fellow comedian Hannibal Buress who proclaims, "It was terrible, man. It was wack as shit. It was just Seinfeld episodes with black people. Who asked for that," when asked his thoughts on the Friends remake.

Once their convo ends, JAY-Z's chorus on the track finally begins with, "we're stuck in La La land; even when we win, we gon' lose." If you're unfamiliar, this is a not so subtle nod to the mixup that happened at the 89th annual Academy Awards when La La Land was announced as the winner of Best Picture when Moonlight was the true winner.

In typical JAY-Z boss status, the official video for "Moonlight" is only available through Hov's Tidal streaming service.
