Amara La Negra Reveals That She Even Brings Her Mother Along on Dates in this 'Love & Hip Hop Miami ' Bonus Clip

While many daughters keep their first date on the low to see where things are going, Amara lets her mother in on her dating process from the very beginning.

In this deleted scene from Love & Hip Hop Miami, Amara La Negra is catching up with her girls. As an entertainer, her mother is no doubt her number one fan but there apparently is a blurry line for boundaries. When it comes to dating, su madre feels like she has to approve of any man Amara brings home. The guilt trips get laid on thick as Amara explains that mommy dearest is constantly making her feel bad with questions like, "Are you going to choose him over me?" The stories she recounts get more dramatic; it's like Amara's love life is a telenovela. The constant intrusiveness is making Amara feel she will never find love but she is in a difficult position. She doesn't want to make her mother feel excluded. As close as they are, her friends agree that she should stop bringing her mom on dates, period. It's not a good look.
