Mark Salling Still Wishes 'Glee' Would've Let Him Sing Some Radiohead

The cast of Glee has sung Madonna. They've sung Beyonce. They've sung everything from Fleetwood Mac to Katy Perry. Yet, after six seasons and hundreds of musical performances, there are still some songs they wish they could've recorded.

While Jane Lynch, Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Heather Morris, Amber Riley, Darren Criss, Dot-Marie Jones, Mark Salling, and Chord Overstreet all spent the show's tear-filled PaleyFest farewell panel reminiscing on the past six years, they took some on the red carpet prior to dream up the performances that could've been.

"Every time I would hear a good song, I'd be like, 'Oh I wish I could do this on Glee," answered Salling. "I never got to do one I wanted either. I wanted to do a Radiohead song, but that I guess it didn't really fit," he said.

"I got to do the 'Trolley' song with Carol Burnett, so how could I complain? I got to do 'Physical' with Olivia Newton-John, how could I complain? I got to do 'Vogue,' Ryan Murphy directed me, and I played Madonna, how could I complain?" said Lynch, with a laugh. "But I really would've liked to have done something with Carole King."

As for Overstreet, he admits to wanting to sing one of his father's (famed country music singer-songwriter Paul Overstreet) songs. "A country song that he had a hit with, maybe from Alison Krauss or Randy Travis, would've been special for me," he said.

When it came time for Criss to answer, his response was almost immediate: "More Motown, that's kind of more my wheelhouse...I would've killed for some Sam Cooke."

The only one who has no musical regrets? Lea Michele, who said without any hesitation, "I'm very satisfied in the song department."

Of course, it's impossible to look back on the show without remembering one cast member, Cory Monteith. EW's Tim Stack, the moderator of the night, asked Colfer to recall a memory with the late actor. "My favorite memory about Cory was we always had accidental fun together," said Colfer. "I will never forget, because we always got paired together to do a lot of press things and we'd always do those crazy radio tours, there's just something very special about when we'd sit next to each other and we'd be asked a ridiculous question and just that look we'd both [give to each other]...He was a very special guy."

Glee's series finale airs March 20 on FOX.

Watch Jane Lynch reveal which song the cast will sing during the series finale.
