This 13-Year Old Girl Brought Everyone on 'America's Got Talent' to Tears With Her Insane Opera Voice
Few people other than Beyonce have humbled Simon Cowell with their voices. Laura Bretan has become one of the few.
Bretan, a 13-year-old opera singer, was visibly nervous to audition for America's Got Talent. The thought of receiving mean and snarky comments from Cowell will do that to a girl, but instead of collapsing under fear of what could go wrong, Bretan rose to the occasion. She proceeded to wow judges Heidi Klum, Mel B, Howie Mandel and most importantly Cowell, and brought audience members and mere strangers to tears with her show-stopping voice.
Bretan was accompanied by her mother, whom she credits with giving her voice lessons. After seeing the reaction her voice received from the audience and judges, Bretan herself started crying. She slayed her song so hard, Mel B had no other choice than to give her the golden buzzer, which caused it to rain golden confetti all over the stage. It was a moment. A tear-jerking, awe-inspiring, ridiculously perfect moment at that.
Are you ready for it? (Probably not.) Watch Bretan's insane opera performance in the clip below.
