Famed footwear designer Steve Madden tapped the former Love & Hip Hop star for a new collection called Curated By Cardi. These Bardi-approved styles range from cute pumps to thigh-high boots, all at an affordable price.
To launch its new Curated By Cardi line the right way, the brand created a series of videos where the up-and-coming rapper gives tips on how to rock each look with funny Cardi-isms sprinkled throughout. It's pretty much the best infomercial ever created.
“I’ve loved Steve Madden since I was a little girl,” Cardi B told Refinery29 about her new footwear venture. “Back then, I died for a pair of Steve Madden shoes. I love how [his shoes are] affordable but [still such] great quality. Every girl can’t afford “bloody shoes,” so I like that I can partner with a shoe company many girls can afford!” Steve returned the love by calling Cardi“the hottest rapper in America,” explaining that she's a perfect fit for the brand because of how easily she can switch from high end to casual.
