Big Ang Underwent Successful Surgery To Remove Throat Tumor

Last night, Ang’s sister, Janine Detore, posted the following statement to Instagram, revealing that Ang successfully underwent a lengthy surgery to remove the tumor and she’s now in recovery. You can see her full statement below.

“To all my sisters family friends fans & well wishers my sister @biggangvh1 had a extremely long nerve racking surgery today she’s now in recovery resting I wanna thank each & everyone of you for reaching out to us and praying for her & my family today as I said this morning as I stand behind my sister in this picture I stood behind her today & every day we will always stand by each other through thick & thin blood is blood sister sister a bond that could never be broken now just pray for a speedy recovery I love her so much & you’ll see her very soon she’s a fighter #lilsis #bigsis #family #forever #sistersister”

Co-star and longtime friend Renee Graziano also posted a post-surgery message for fans, too:
