Nya Lee and MariahLynn Bond and Cry Over Their Traumatic Pasts In The 'Love & Hip Hop' Sneak Peek

Nya Lee has has a rough go of it. When we first met the stripper-turned-rapper in 2013, we found out that she was jumped by a bunch of girls and ended up with a scar that stretched across her neck and chest. Now, in 2018, Nya is still trying to recover from her physical and emotional scars after years of trying to prove her worth. In this moment from the upcoming episode of Love & Hip Hop, Nya confides in Cyn and MariahLynn about her struggles, namely with DJ Self, whose respect she's trying to earn in order to get the opportunity to work with him. "You keep 'sis'-ing me and 'sis'-ing me but then there's no support," Nya says of Self. Mariah, now brunette, (here for all of their new hairstyles, btw), totally understands Nya's situation.

Mariah has played this game with Self and Gwinin' before, and knows how frustrating the man can be, but she begs Nya not to let it get to her. Both women have beaten difficult circumstances, Nya with her battle scars and Mariah with an absentee mother, and they're tougher for it, Mariah reminds Nya. "We gotta start sharing the true us," Nya agrees. Let's hope this pep talk propels them forward. We'll see if it does next Monday.
