Did Donald Trump Just Utter The Most Blatantly Sexist Statement In The History Of Broadcast Television?

It would take a few lifetimes to compile a list of all the awful things that Donald Trump has ever said or done, but on Sunday night's Celebrity Apprentice: All-Stars, we found ourselves not only a frontrunner for one of the most sexist things that he's ever uttered, but also that's ever aired on broadcast television.

First, an admission. We missed Sunday night's episode of Celebrity Apprentice: All-Stars, a show so silly that we normally have a season pass set to watch it, due to DVR overload. Between Mob Wives, The Amazing Race, Girls, and The Walking Dead, there just wasn't any room on our poor, overworked DVR for the shenanigans of some of Reality Television's Worst Repeat Offenders.

So, we caught up with the episode on Hulu this afternoon as soon as we learned that Bret Michaels allegedly had a "meltdown" after being eliminated from this weekend's premiere episode. We didn't see much on-camera evidence of Bret tearing up, but we DID hear Donald Trump utter the most blatantly sexist statement in the short history of the program.

The scene, which you can watch video of above, was this: LaToya Jackson, Bret Michaels and former Playboy Playmate Brande Roderick were in the boardroom, presenting their arguments as to why they shouldn't be fired to the brainless triumvirate of Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump and Piers Morgan. Bret explains to his eventual executioners that, at one point, Brande "got down on her knees and passionately said, 'I want to do this.'" The innuendo was too thick for a goon like Donald Trump to let the statement simply slide.

"Excuse me, you DROPPED to your knees?", Trump directs towards Brande.

"Yes," Brande responds.

It's at this point that you can see the wheels of Trump's dirty mind turning, verrrrrrry slowly yet very surely. A full six seconds, which is an ETERNITY of time in the rapid-paced world of reality television editing, expire before Trump responds, "It must be a pretty picture. You dropping to your knees."

Um, WHAT?!?! Did he REALLY just verbalize his desire to see Brande drop to her knees to give him a BJ, on a show that is not only broadcast on television, but on NETWORK television? A show that, mind you, is run through a gamut of producers and censors, and one that apparently no one had the cajones to step up and say, "You know, this is a bit that's best left on the cutting room floor"? Yes, yes he did.

The camera cuts to Brande, who gives a pissed-off smirk to Donald, before cutting over to the reliably slimy Piers Morgan, who sycophantically chuckles at his mentor's unforgivably horrible sexist comment. The camera then cuts back to Trump, who looks at Morgan approvingly and gives him a knowing nod, the kind he's likely given thousands of times to his cronies in the oak-lined locker rooms of the private clubs he frequents.

It's horrible enough that we have to put up with Trump's status as the world's most obnoxious Birther, but do any of his viewers —let alone contestants— really have to put up with boorish behavior like this? We think not. There's nary an office place in the world where a comment like this would pass without some sort of reprimand. In the words of Best Week Ever, that'll be enough, Donald Trump. That'll be enough.
