There's nothing we love than a sweet collaboration between two musical souls and that's what we got this morning on Big Morning Buzz Live. Host Nick Lachey joined forces with tonight's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee John Oates on a stripped down, "modern" cover of the Hall & Oates hit song, "Out of Touch.
The smooth and infectious pop melodies of Hall & Oates defined the 1980s and tonight, Daryl Hall and John Oates will be officially inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Other new inductees include Nirvana, KISS, Cat Stevens, Peter Gabriel and Linda Ronstadt.
John Oates stopped by VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live this morning in anticipation of tonight's big bash at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. After his interview, where Oates chatted how the band made it big and how he maintains a side solo gig, Lachey asked if he could live out a lifelong dream to join Oates for a song and Oates was game for it.
"Out of Touch" was the lead single from Hall & Oates' 1984 album, Big Bam Boom. The single was a massive success all over the world and topped the Billboard charts for two straight weeks.
