Elton John Dragged Janet Jackson in a New Interview with 'Rolling Stone'

Elton John came for Janet Jackson in a new interview with Rolling Stone. And it's ugly. Very ugly.

The "Your Song" maestro is known for his other-worldly pipes and piano skills, so he doesn't take kindly to artists he thinks lip-sync. Need we remind you of his decade-long tête-à-tête with Madonna, where he accused her of miming and dubbed her a "fairground stripper"? They made up, but it seems John has switched gears to Jackson, who he thinks is guilty of the same crime.

"You know, f--king music magazines writing a review of Janet Jackson saying, 'This is the greatest show—four and a half stars.' It's f--king lip-synced! Hello! That's not a show!" John told the magazine. "I'd rather go and see a drag queen. F--k off." (The quote is most likely referencing Jackson's current Unbreakable World Tour, which has garnered critical acclaim.)

Except it is a show, Sir John. The "Tiny Dancer" icon has an untouchable style and leaves a pound of flesh on stage after every performance. However, Jackson does the same thing but in a different sense. We can't confirm whether or not Jackson lip-syncs, but what she (allegedly) lacks in live vocals, she makes up for in punchy dancing and a mesmerizing stage presence 100 percent worth the $90 (or so) per ticket. For some people, a show is watching John belt "Rocket Man" and wail on the piano. For others, it's witnessing Jackson slay a dance routine to "Nasty." Each poisons are valid, and each are entertaining.

I'd go with Jackson, personally, knowing good and well the vocals *might* be semi-live. And it would be worth every damn penny.
