Juelz Santana Opens Up About His Drug and Alcohol Addiction in the Extended Love & Hip Hop New York' Sneak Peek

"I was prescribed percocets from the doctor and I kinda started abusing that."

It's one big happy reunion in the beginning of the sneak peek to the Love & Hip Hop New York season premiere when Rich Dollaz, Safaree Samuels, Joe Budden and his beautiful baby boy Lexington link up. Now that Rich Dollaz is healthy again, he's looking forward to new beginnings and Safaree is looking towards getting into a serious relationship. Joe Budden is aware of the "situation" Safaree was recently in while in Hollywood and reminds the Stunt Man to just get back to the music. After hearing that Safaree plans on performing his single at Dyckman, Joey already knows that this a terrible idea. For those who don't know about this highly-acclaimed basketball tourney locale, "If you have a popular street single buzzin,' you go there, you perform, and it's a real good hood family atmosphere." Seeing as how Safaree doesn't have that, well, that can't end well.

On a more serious note, since Juelz Santana's house arrest, Kimbella has basically been feeling like a single mom since the two can't live with one another. With therapy to aide in getting their marriage back on track, Juelz opens up about transitioning to "being clean and sober." He explains,

I've been kinda dabbling with the pills and stuff like that. I had been drinking like a cough syrup, we call it 'lean.' The hip hop industry I was in just made it a cool thing and I had a lot of teeth problems. I was prescribed percocets from the doctor and I kinda started abusing that.

When asked about fears of relapse, he continued, "You know what you kind of have to go through with the whole withdrawal thing, and I don't ever want to have to go through that again." After nine years of being by his side, Kimbella has dealt with everything from infidelity to drugs. All of this is a lot. Juelz swears that he never intentionally meant to hurt Kimbella; that burden wasn't meant to fall on her. Although a teary-eyed Kimbella is frustrated that she fully doesn't have her hubby because of this current case, she is willing to keep trying. All Juelz can do now is apologize and work towards making things right by any means necessary.

Don't miss the season nine premiere of Love & Hip Hop New York next Monday at 8/7c!
