You'll Never Guess What Amber Rose and Amanda Knox Have In Common

It's more obvious than you think.

People are always saying how small the world is, but who knew it was small enough for Amanda Knox and Amber Rose to have something in common? Vice is giving Amanda her very own show and she decided one of the women she wants to talk to is none other than Amber. If you're wondering what they have to talk about, you're not alone.

At first glance, it seems random for Amanda, the girl who was wrongfully convicted of murdering her roommate and spent 2007-2011 in prison, to invite Amber, who spent 2008 - 2011 being known as a former stripper and Kanye West's girlfriend, on her show. The five-episode series, "The Scarlet Letter Reports", will have Amanda interview women who have been publicly shamed and how they have rebuilt their lives:

“While on trial for a murder I didn’t commit, my prosecutor painted me as a sex-crazed femme fatale with magical powers to control men. The tabloids loved that story. So did the public. So did the jury. I lost years of my life to prison because of two-dimensional and misogynist stereotypes. In The Scarlet Letter Reports, I’m hoping to re-humanize others who have been similarly shamed and vilified, and elevate the standard for how we think and talk about public women.”

Now, this 100% makes sense. Amber has spent much of her time in the public eye trying to fight against people who view her as being too sexual. She's done everything from speaking openly in interviews about experiences she's had to hosting her annual Slutwalk and getting other notable women to join the cause.

We will certainly be watching this episode of The Scarlet Letter Reports when the show comes out.
