Rudy Giuliani Calls Beyonce's Influence a "Shame," Boasts About All the "Black Lives" He's Saved

It's been clear that Rudy Giuliani is legitimately delusional ever since he praised the second Bush administration and said, "Under those eight years, before Obama came along, we didn’t have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attack inside the United States,” conveniently forgetting that he was the mayor of New York City during 9/11. Now, Giuliani is back with more inflammatory comments.

During an appearance on Fox News' Fox & Friends, host Ainsley Earhardt showed Giuliani a clip of Beyonce's VMAs performance from Sunday. Earhardt asked for his thoughts on a clip where Beyonce's dancers fall to the ground at the sound of gunshots to "symbolize cops killing black individuals."

"You’re asking the wrong person,” Giuliani responded. “Because I have five uncles who were police, two cousins who were, one who died in the line of duty."

Giuliani also called Beyonce's influence "a shame" and went on this long-winded, aggrandizing rant, where he boasted about how he's "saved more black lives" than anyone who performed at the VMAs:

"I ran the largest and the best police department in the world, the New York City Police Department, and I saved more black lives than any of those people you saw on stage by reducing crime and particularly homicide by 75 percent...of which, maybe four or five thousand were African-American young people who are alive today because of the policies I put in effect that weren’t in effect for 35 years.”
