It's not easy pursuing a career in music whether you're a singer or a rapper. No one knows this better than the cast of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. These musicians (some aspiring, others seasoned veterans) break down what the music business in Los Angeles is really like and said things like: fake, competitive, aggressive and "definitely Hollywood."
Teairra Mari says, "If you're not at a certain status then people won't f*** with you," while newbie Morgan Hardman says "was" a lesbian when she first got on the scene to keep guys away. One thing's for sure, being a woman in showbiz is no easy task. Moniece Slaughter says you're better off being ugly because people will actually listen to what you're saying.
A lot of philosophies from this cast. Make sure to tune into the season premiere of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood Monday, September 15 at 8 PM ET/PT.
