These musicians (some aspiring, others seasoned veterans) break down what the music business in Los Angeles is really like and said things like: fake, competitive, aggressive and "definitely Hollywood."

Teairra Mari says, "If you're not at a certain status then people won't f*** with you," while newbie Morgan Hardman says "was" a lesbian when she first got on the scene to keep guys away. One thing's for sure, being a woman in showbiz is no easy task. Moniece Slaughter says you're better off being ugly because people will actually listen to what you're saying.
