We told you what the Grammys got right and wrong about this year's metal nominees. Well, they definitely got the opening right by having the legendary AC/DC kick off the festivities.
As usual, dressed in all black, lead singer Brian Johnson controlled the stage while Angus Young, dressed in his trademark schoolboy uniform (Pharrell stole his look for the night) effortlessly got the star-studded crowd on their feet. Also, drummer Chris Slade reunited with the band tonight for his first AC/DC performance in more than two decades.

We're sure metal fans were pleasantly surprised to see the legends since the Grammys haven't quite won metal heads over from day one. Perhaps this was an olive branch for giving Jethro Tull the Grammy for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance back in 1989. Whatever the reason, AC/DC rocked and we have the pictures to prove it, check them out!
