Queen Nicki Minaj Will Produce and Appear in an ABC Family Series About Her Life

Nicki Minaj fans, you're about to freak the hell out.

ABC Family announced today your queen will executive produce and appear in a show about her life, and filming is set to begin this winter. Yes, you read that correctly. NICKI MINAJ IS COMING TO TELEVISION.

The 30-minute comedy will focus on her family's immigration from Trinidad to America in the early '90s and Nicki growing up in Queens, New York. It will also touch on Nicki's evolution as a person and artist that led to her stardom. Holy crap. This will be our new favorite show, hands down.

“This is one of the more unique adventures I’ve ever embarked on,” Minaj said in the ABC Family press release, which we included below. “I couldn’t be more proud and excited to team up with an amazing group of people to give the world something really special.”

Even cooler? Will & Grace wordsmith Kate Angelo wrote the pilot, so you know it will deliver gallons of laughter. Are y'all prepared for the Nicki small screen slay?
