Jay Z is not severing ties with Barneys even though the retailer is in the middle of an investigation over whether or not they racially profile black customers as possible shoplifters. Jay Z released a statement last night that explained all of his collection's proceeds are going to charity and that he will take a leadership role in the current investigation over whether or not the store has racist policies. Kendrick Lamar might have been named one of GQ's Men of the Year, but the rapper isn't happy with the magazine. Lamar and his camp opted out of the publication's Men of the Year party because of offensive racial overtones in Lamar's profile. [Rap-Up]
