Mariah Carey Serves Up a Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande Clap Back For the Ages
Mariah Carey knows how to retaliate. After being dissed by Demi Lovato on social media, Carey serves up a huge clap back.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday, December 18, Carey played a game of "Plead the Fifth." After dodging a few breakup questions about ex-fiancé James Packer, and her new reported romance with backup dancer Bryan Tanaka, she was asked about Lovato's shade comments last summer.
"Demi Lovato, I didn't know this, she kind of shaded you on social media," the host said. "She made assumptions about Ariana Grande, and she said, 'Mariah's a legend and she's so talented but she disses people. It's nasty the way she treats Jennifer [Lopez].' What would you say to Demi?"
The Queen of Christmas quickly clapped back, "I don't know her either and so I wouldn't say anything to her. She should come up, introduce herself to me, say, 'Here's my opinion, what do you think about it?' That's how you handle s--t, OK?"
The diva also threw a little shade at Ariana Grande when asked by Cohen if she knew her.
"No," she responds. "I don't know … Honestly, I'm not familiar. I listen to hip-hop more than I listen to pop music.”
Ouch! I have feeling this beef triangle is far from over.
