10 Lessons Video Vixens Taught Us About Romance

Video vixens have cozied up to the singers of our dreams, so when it comes to romance advice, we will take note of everything they have to offer. Amidst the bumpin' and grindin', you'd be surprised to know that sometimes, the underlying feelings were those of true love. You could even ask the stars who really fell in love on set.

Nicki Minaj and model Willy Monfret prove that vicious fighting can make for some pretty amazing makeup sex, while Melyssa Ford shakes it fast and puts Pharrell in a trance for days. While our favorite video stars provide for some major eye candy, they also teach us some valuable love advice while doing so. If you're wondering about going too fast, making the first move, or awkward first dates, you may be surprised to find answers you've been looking for in these videos. Here are some lessons learned from video vixens that come straight from cupid himself.

Vixen: Rachel Hunter in "Stacy's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne

Lesson: Love knows no age.

So what if you have a crush on someone's mom or dad? You know what they say: when you know, you know. Like you haven't seriously thought about pursuing a relationship with your favorite MILF or DILF?

Vixen: Willy Monfret in "Right Thru Me" by Nicki Minaj

Lesson: Your significant other may throw a plate at you, but it's worth it.

Because a few minutes later, you'll be rolling around in bed with them. And if they're even half as sexy as Nicki or Willy, then you're in pretty good shape.

Vixen: Anna Kournikova in "Escape" by Enrique Inglesias

Lesson: Playing hard to get actually works.

In the video, Anna pushed Enrique away and after he chased after her, she found herself having hot makeup sex with him in a bathroom. The two have been dating in real life for over 12 years, so, yeah. Lesson learned.

Vixen: Eli Swanson in "Oops!... I Did It Again" by Britney Spears

Lesson: Jewelry can't always win your way to a woman's heart.

The hot astronaut in Britney's video swam all the way down to the ocean to retrieve Rose's sapphire necklace from Titanic. Now that is chivalry if we ever saw it. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to win Britney over and ditch her mind games. Psh.

Vixen: Melyssa Ford in "Shake It Fast" by Mystikal

Lesson: Small talk is overrated.

If you spot a guy or gal across the way that catches your eye, it might work out for you to skip the small talk and introductions and skip to shaking that ass up on them. Cut to the chase, you know?

Vixen: Tyson Beckford in "Unbreak My Heart" by Toni Braxton

Lesson: You don't need to leave the house to have a romantic date.

In fact, you probably shouldn't leave the house at all, especially on a motorcycle, because then your days of naked Twister, showers and sexy pool time will be over. Don't say you weren't warned.

Vixens: Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler in "Crazy" by Aerosmith

Lesson: Three is never a crowd.

You can like girls. You can like guys. Hell, you can all like each other at the same time. Who knows all the crazy adventures that you can find yourself in?...

Vixen: Ola Ray in "Thriller" by Michael Jackson

Lesson: It's okay to show that you're scared s--tless on a date.

Even if you just accepted being someone's girlfriend and a pretty ring to make it official, if you see some weird werewolf and/or zombie transformation stuff happening, you run. Boys come and go, but wolf scars are forever.

Vixen: Marisol Maldonado in "Smooth" by Santana and Rob Thomas

Lesson: Take every opportunity to dance for your man (or woman).

Even if it is in the middle of the street. Marisol, Rob's real life wife did it in this video and the sexual tension between the two even makes us start to sweat.
