First Dibs: Press Photographers Prohibited From Beyonce Tour

What will become of Justin Bieber’s monkey? Psy breaks more YouTube records and Sharon Osbourne decides to stick by her man, all in today’s First Dibs.

  • Beyoncé’s publicity team will not provide press credentials for photographers during the rest of the Mrs. Carter tour. Media organizations are being directed to a website that contains carefully curated images so that “unflattering” photos of the singer don’t find their way into the news cycle. [The Guardian]

  • This is why Justin Bieber can't have nice things. In late March, the pop star attempted to bring his pet capuchin monkey, Mally, into Germany but didn't have the proper paperwork. The Munich animal shelter that's been holding the pet says Bieber's team has reached out to them, asking if Mally can be placed in a zoo or a rescue facility. [Los Angeles Times]
  • It’s official: Psy’s video for his single, “Gentleman,” has gone viral. The clip now holds the record for the most YouTube views in a single day, being played 38 million times. The video is also the most-viewed clip in a single week, with 100 million views during the week of its debut. “Gangnam Style” should watch its back. [E!]
  • Sharon Osbourne denied rumors that she's splitting from her husband, Ozzy. She says she was "devastated" by his drug and alcohol relapse, but she's committing herself to help with his sobriety. [MTV]
